Generally, swim spas are a cheaper option than a full scale swimming pool. They take up less space, are easy to heat and provide an all year round swimming experience as well as providing wonderful exercise facilities in the comfort of your own homeL
Swimspas have been on the market since 1988 , and they have never been more popular especially here in France.
A swimspa is fully insulated and comes with an insulated top cover to keep the heat in. This means that they are surprisingly economical to run and can be used all year round. The top cover is weatherproof allowing the swimspa to be situated outside and has the added benefit of being sturdy enough to walk on – an important security measure for in-ground swimspas. Thanks to the top cover there is no need for air conditioning when the swimspa is installed inside because the cover captures heat and humidity. For an outside swimspa no additional roofing is required due to the heat retaining properties of the cover and swimspa insulation.
Why a swim spa? • They are cheaper and take up less space than a traditional swimming pool • They are often called ‘exercise spas’ as they combine the physical exercise of swimming with the opportunity to relax in a hot tub environment • The running and maintenance costs are much less than a traditional swimming pool • You can take a swim spa with you if you have to move home • You have the option of fitting a swim spa indoors or outdoors, in ground or above and they are virtually maintenance free
What do you get with a swim spa?
